May 3 We took notes from a power point on basic geometric vocabulary. We watched a video on translations and students worked on a worksheet, evens only, to complete as homework.

May 4 We worked on IXL.com L.2,3, and 4 to practice translations. We watched a video on reflection and worked on a worksheet that was to be completed as homework.

May 5 We watched a video on reflection over y=x and y=-x and other lines. Students worked on a worksheet on reflection and then worked on a quizizz.com to review translations and reflections. IXL.com L.5 & 6 is also good for more practice.

May 8 We watched a video on rotation about the origin and then worked on a worksheet to practice. IXL.com L.8, L.9 is more practice. Students also worked with patty paper to visualize the rotations and double check their answers by applying the rules.

May 9 We watched a video on rotation about a fixed point and then worked on a worksheet to practice. Students going on their trip....ENJOY!!! See you when you get back.

May 10 Most of classes band students were gone, so students combined with Mrs. Quenan's class and worked over there.

May 11 4th period made catapults to use knowledge of the quadratic equation to try to catapult marshmallows into a specified bin. 5th period started the Math Inventory (MI)

May 12 4th period started Math inventory 5th period made catapults to use knowledge of the quadratic equations to try to catapult paper wads into a specified bin.

May 15 Students too the Math Inventory then did a quizizz.com Code : 505768 and then worked on ixl.com L.8,9,10

May 16 Students finished MI and then worked more on transformations by working on a treasure map activity performing transformations.

May 17 Students watched a video on dilation and then worked on a worksheet. Students who had not completed their map from yesterday work on completing their map. Students then worked on a worksheet to see how much they remember on angle relationships from parallel lines cut by a transversal. Students then worked on more practice finding angle measures of angles formed from parallel lines cut by a transversal. Students turned in all work.

May 18 Students will finish angles review packet and check. Students will then work on computer activity
